TIGER ATHLETIC FOUNDATION
"HERE FOR TIGERS"
FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
The Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) is a separate entity from Louisiana State University. Their mission is to reach out to former students, raising funds needed to give the LSU athletic department new equipment, training facilities, scholarships for students, etc. They also donate money to LSU to fund new buildings on campus for non-athletic purposes. Basically, they raise money for LSU.
The problem TAF was having was trying to revitalize how they reached out to alums, as well as current and former students and student-athletes. The main culprit: they had been around for almost 30 years, but nobody knew exactly what they did. Our goal: find a new way to inspire people to donate to LSU, while also explaining the who, what, why, and how of TAF.
By focusing on TAF's history, we wanted to capitalize on how they have been around for so long - funding buildings, helping student-athletes graduate, and helping LSU sports be the best it could be. The answer was how, for the last 30 years, TAF has been "There for the LSU Tigers."
TAF and its members were there when Tiger Stadium was remodeled. They were there to fund buildings for education. They were there for every victory, championship, and failure. They have, and always will be, here for the LSU Tigers.
This campaign involved video, print, and billboard. The first video (at the top) actually played in Tiger Stadium, during an LSU football game, on the jumbotron.
Apologies if you're not an LSU fan.
